Wendi Richter Named to the WWE Hall of Fame

Last night another inductee for the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2010 was announced. Wendi Richter was one the dominant Divas of the 80’s. She had feuds with Sherri Martel, The Fabulous Moolah, Leilani Kai and others. She was a 5 time Women’s Champion in her career. She was also a part of the Rock N Wrestling Connection with Cyndi Lauper.

This will be the first time in 25 years Wendi Richter will be on WWE TV since her falling out with Vince McMahon over money disputes and losing the Women’s title. Wendi is a pioneer for current women wrestlers today and defintiely deserves to be in the WWE Hall of Fame. She will be inducted by another Hall of Famer, Rowdy Roddy Piper.

It was also announced Brett and Ted DiBiase Jr. will be inducting their father the Million Dollar Man. The Hall of Fame just keeps getting better. I look forward to seeing who else gets inducted this year.
