Carwin Shocks the World at UFC 111 and more

So I finally got a chance to watch UFC 111 and I was totally shocked at what happened. The Interim Heavyweight Championship bout between Frank Mir and Shane Carwin did not go the way I thought it would. In fact Carwin took out Mir in the first round which just absolutely nuts. Now Carwin faces even a bigger challange on July 3rd on that’s against Brock Lesnar for the Unified Heavyweight Champion

In the Welterweight Title fight between Dan Hardy and champions St. Pierre, St. Pierre defeated Hardy by unanimous decision (50-43, 50-44, 50-45) to retain his UFC Welterweight championship. I think everyone knew that was going to happen and I have a feeling that St. Pierre will have that title for a long time to come.

A lot of big fights are coming up this spring and summer so here is the rundown of who is fighting soon.
