College Football Weekly

Well I said it last week on this blog, that I would hate to be number one in the BCS standings because you’ll lose. Well sure enough Oklahoma lost to Missouri. Other then that a few other upsets happened including 16 Nebraska defeating 14 Oklahoma St., Iowa St defeated 19 Texas, Syracuse defeated 20 West Virginia, and Baylor defeated 22 Kansas St. Here are some big games this coming week:

No. 5 Michigan State at No. 18 Iowa
No. 6 Missouri at No. 14 Nebraska
No. 2 Oregon at USC

A lot of games are a given and I don’t foresee a shakeup at all. Here are the current rankings in the BCS:

1 Auburn 8-0
2 Oregon 7-0
3 Boise State 6-0
4 TCU 8-0
5 Michigan State 8-0
6 Missouri 7-0
7 Alabama 7-1
8 Utah 7-0
9 Oklahoma 6-1
10 Wisconsin 7-1
11 Ohio State 7-1
12 LSU 7-1
13 Stanford 6-1
14 Nebraska 6-1
15 Arizona 6-1
16 Florida State 6-1
17 Oklahoma State 6-1
18 Iowa 5-2
19 Arkansas 5-2
20 South Carolina 5-2
21 Mississippi State 6-2
22 Miami (FL) 5-2
23 Virginia Tech 6-2
24 Nevada 6-1
25 Baylor 6-2

Check back next week to see if Boise State actually gets number 1 or 2. A lot of people are still complaining about Boise State not being number 1 or 2. Well guess what, they shouldn’t be. Play some worthy teams and then maybe I’ll change my opinion. Until then keep staying tuned.
