You finally have my attention

As most of you know I have never been much of a hockey fan but this years playoffs have really captured my attention. You have had Alexander Ovechkin vs. Sidney Crosby which has rapidly becoming one of the greatest rivalries in the modern era of sports. Then you had a very competitive series between the Ducks and the Red Wings. I’ll always watch the Red Wings whenever they are on but that’s all I have ever really cared about. Hockey is starting to draw my attention and interest.

It’s now down to four teams in the playoffs. On the Western Conference side you have the Red Wings taking on the Black hawks, and on the Eastern Conference side you have the Hurricanes taking on the Penguins. We could see a rematch of last years Stanley Cup Finals with the Red Wings and Penguins. I know I’ll be watching both series to see what happens. I am glad Detroit finally has something to root for this year because the Pistons and Lions sure didn’t get done. Well enjoy the games and root for the Red Wings.
