Top Ranked Teams Pushed to the Limit

There were some great College Football games this week that probably did more to shake up the BCS standings then any other week this year. There some battles including the Red River Battle between Oklahoma and Texas. Texas won 16-13 but what’s even worst is that Sam Bradford is injured once again and it’s on the same shoulder he injured once before this year. Oklahoma is surprisingly still in the top 25 with 3 loses. The Florida Gators had a battle with Arkansas but won 23-20. USC had a great game with Notre Dame which saw the luck of the Irish run out. USC wins 34-27 and proves they are still a team to beat.

The upsets of the week might be Purdue over Ohio State. OSU was ranked 7 going in but dropped significantly. Texas Tech beat Nebraska 31-10. Colorado beat Kansas 34-30. So here are the current BCS rankings after all the action this week.

The year is almost half over in College Football and it’s been an exciting year so far. The one team that has remained at top of the standings is Florida and the only way they will be beat is if they beat themselves. I think Florida is definitely going to be in the BCS Championship game. As for who will join them, I think that is still up in the air. Only time will tell so stay tuned
