Remember John Wooden

Yesterday one of the greatest minds in all of basketball passed away. John Wooden was one of the greatest coaches in the history of basketball. He did a lot of great things in his career. He won 10 National Championships with UCLA and had four seasons where his teams went 30-0. His overall record was 664–162. His other accomplishments include:

-2006 founding class, College Basketball Hall of Fame
-1972 National Basketball Hall of Fame as a Coach
-Six time NCAA College Basketball Coach of the Year
-1930 Basketball All-American
-1931 Basketball All-American
-1932 Basketball All-American
-1932 College Basketball Player of the Year
-1933 National Basketball League – Scoring Champion
-1938 National Basketball League – First Team
-1960 National Basketball Hall of Fame as a Player
-1964 Henry Iba Award Coach of the Year
-Presidential Medal of Freedom

John Wooden will always be remembered for winning because thats what he was all about. John Wooden left a legacy on basketball that will never be forgotten. John Wooden lived a full life and we should celebrate that and honor that. Thank you John Wooden for all you did for basketball.
