Thoughts on TNA Impact and Reaction 9/23/2010

I have to begin with saying that I love TNA wrestling on Thursday nights. The rivalry between EV 2.0 and Fortune is heating up. I love the emotion and the passion being shown by both sides. The first match of the night was between Abyss and Rob Terry which ended in DQ. RVD showed up to try and fight Abyss but was stopped by security.

Generation Me has had a change of heart in recent weeks, and has taken out Alex Shelley and tried taking out Chris Sabin after Sabin defeated Jeremy Buck. The Machine Guns and Generation Me are starting to build a good rivalry. I am not sure if I like the idea of turning GenME into full blown heels. All I know is they are going to tear the house down the next time they face each other.

The Pope DeAngelo Dinero has been bitter in recent weeks about not getting his fair. He got his fair share by being choked out by Samoa Joe this week. However it seems The Pope has aligned himself with Sting and Kevin Nash. How will this play out in the coming weeks?

In the Main Event, A.J. Styles took on Sabu in a Ladder Match to determine who would have advantage going into Lethal Lockdown at Bound for Glory. It’s going to be Fortune (A.J. Styles, Matt Morgan, James Storm, Kazarian and Robert Roode) vs. EV 2.0 (Tommy Dreamer, Rhino, Stevie Richards, Raven and Sabu) A.J. Styles won the match with some help and you can better believe that this match will be brutal on 10-10-10.

Bound for Glory is shaping up to be really good. RVD vs. Abyss was announced for the show and I am sure their will be more big matches announced in the next two weeks. Keep checking back for more on TNA’s biggest PPV of the year.
