Hendo Drops Fedor in 1st Round Knockout

Last night Dan Henderson solidified his legacy in MMA by knocking one of the biggest legends ever in Fedor. This is Fedor’s third straight loss. I think the same thing that happened to Silva, Couture and Liddell is happening to Fedor. The wars he has been in have finally caught up to him. Fedor has beaten the best of the beat in his MMA career but losing three fights in a row usually means you’re done. Other fights on the card included:

-Women’s Bantamweight Championship bout: Marloes Coenen (c) vs. Miesha Tate
Tate defeated Coenen by submission (arm triangle) at 3:03 of round 4 to become the new women’s Bantamweight champion.
-Middleweight bout: Robbie Lawler vs. Tim Kennedy
Kennedy defeated Lawler by unanimous decision (30–27, 30–27, 30–27).
-Welterweight bout: Paul Daley vs. Tyron Woodley
Woodley defeated Daley via unanimous decision (29–28, 29–28, 29–28).
-Welterweight bout: Scott Smith vs. Tarec Saffiedine
Saffiedine defeated Smith by unanimous decision (30–27, 30–27, 30–26).

The next big Strikeforce event is Strikeforce: World Heavyweight Grand Prix and the card for that looks like this:

Heavyweight Grand Prix Semifinal bout: Sergei Kharitonov vs. Josh Barnett[1] Heavyweight Grand Prix Semifinal bout: Antonio Silva vs. United States Daniel Cormier
Middleweight Championship bout: Ronaldo Souza (c) vs. Luke Rockhold
Light Heavyweight bout: Muhammed Lawal vs. Roger Gracie

As always keep checking back for more on Strikeforce news and matches.
