2011 WWE Slammy Awards Recap

Recapping the year in 2011
Tonight was the 2011 WWE Slammy Awards and it was quite an entertaining show. We had a great Fatal Four way match between Zack Ryder, Dolph Wiggler, Daniel Bryan and Cody Rhodes. Also we were privileged to a tag man between Randy Orton and CM Punk against The Miz and Alberto Del Rio. Speaking of Punk, he introduced us to a mannequin of Johnny Ace the surfer dude. The main event was John Cena vs. Mark Henry which ended with Kane returning to take out John Cena. Kane came back in his old mask. We were also treated to stars of the past that have not been on TV for a long time.

Divalicious Moment of the Year: Kelly Kelly
Presenter- Lita

OMG Moment of the Year: Triple H Tombstones the Undertaker at WM 27
Presenters- Santino Marella and The Bella Twins

Trending Star of the Year: Zack Ryder
Presenters- David Otunga and Tony Atlas

Game Changer of the Year: The Rock Challenges John Cena for Wrestlemania 28
Presenter- Christian

A Lister of the Year: Snooki
Presenters- Vickie Guerreo and Goldust

WWE Superstar of the Year: CM Punk
Presenter- Rey Mysterio

Well we know Superstar of the Year wasn’t predetermined like the rest of the awards. Its been a good year for WWE as they pushed the envelope a little bit again and got a little bit wilder as well. Thank you to the Academy of Sports and Entertainment for your brilliant award show.
