NFL Off-Season Moves as of 4/18/2012

It’s been a couple of weeks since I last reported and the player movement has really slowed down in the NFL off-season. With the draft just a few short weeks away teams are going to start looking at draft needs and not free agency.

-Carolina Panthers agreed to terms with WR Steve Smith on a three-year contract extension through the 2015 season.
-San Francisco 49ers signed RB Brandon Jacobs to a one-year contract.

-Chicago Bears agreed to terms with LB Lance Briggs on a one-year contract extension through the 2014 season.

-New Orleans Saints named Joe Vitt interim coach.

-Denver Broncos signed WR Brandon Stokley to a one-year contract.
Like I said the big moves are coming to an end and the time to prepare for the draft is now. The draft takes place April 26th-28th with most of the coverage taking place on ESPN. Stay tuned for more coverage on the NFL Draft.
