Big UFC Fights on the Horizon

It’s the middle of summer and we have already seen a lot of big fights in the UFC this year. There are my fights to look forward to the second half of the year. Here are fights that have been finalized or heavily rumored.

Light Heavyweight bout:  Maurício Rua vs  Brandon Vera
Light Heavyweight bout:  Lyoto Machida vs  Ryan Bader

UFC 150Lightweight Championship bout: Benson Henderson (c) vs  Frankie Edgar
Lightweight bout  Donald Cerrone vs  Melvin Guillard
Middleweight bout:  Jake Shields vs  Ed Herman

UFC 151

Light Heavyweight Championship bout: Jon Jones (c) vs  Dan Henderson

UFC 152

Welterweight bout: BJ Penn vs.  Rory MacDonald

UFC 153

Light Heavyweight bout:  Glover Teixeira vs. Quinton Jackson

UFC 154
UFC Welterweight Championship bout:  Georges St-Pierre (c) vs.  Carlos Condit
Welterweight bout:  Martin Kampmann vs.  Johny Hendricks

As you can see their are a lot of fights with title implications and contenders for those titles as well. Obviously more bouts will continue to be made and if their are any bouts worth mentioning they be covered. The first half of 2012 saw excitement in UFC. Hopefully the second half of 2012 will continue on the momentum.
