MLB Off-Season Moves as 11/15/2012

Well the Giants won the World Series in 2012 a few weeks and since then some major moves have went down. A lot of wheeling, dealing and shocking moves have been made. On my NFL, and NBA off-season moves I posted every other week but I’ve decided I am going to have set dates for these postings. I am going to post on the 15th and 30th of each month until the preseason beings. So with that being said here are all the officials deals that have been made thus far.

-San Fransisco Giants agreed to terms with LHP Jeremy Affeldt on a three-year contract.

-Chicago Cubs agreed to terms with RHP Scott Baker on a one-year contract.

-Washington Nationals announced manager Davey Johnson will return next season and become a consultant in 2014.
-Toronto Blue Jays Agreed to terms with INF Maicer Izturis on a three-year contract.

-Los Angeles Dodgers named Mark McGwire hitting coach. Also agreed to terms with RHP Brandon League on a three-year contract.

-Los Angeles Angels declined their 2013 option on RHP Dan Haren.

-Cleveland Indians named Terry Francona manager.
Like I said all of these moves are officially signed, sealed and done. Check back on the 30th for more signings, trades and personnel changes.
