A Death Threat Army Invasion of Impact Wrestling Should Be Inevitable

In today’s world of pro wrestling, factions on the Independent Scene are rare to find and even harder to stay together. Over the last several years, one faction in Michigan has hit major strides. In 2014 at Fort Stewart in Georgia, the idea of the Death Threat Army was put in motion. Little did anyone know, the impact that this faction would have in Michigan and into the Midwest. One thing that lacks in AEW and WWE is talent from the Midwest. The Midwest often gets overlooked when it comes to pro wrestling talent, but what the Death Threat Army is doing these last few years is nothing short of remarkable. The current Death Threat Army members that reside in Michigan are Aaron Orion, Tommy Vendetta, Alex Weir, Jack Price, Adam, Isaiah Broner and Christopher Saint. All of them have different backgrounds and bring something to special to DTA. None of these guys can be overlooked with what they’re doing right now.

Midwest talent isn’t the only thing that’s overlooked in pro wrestling. When people talk pro wrestling promotions, Impact Wrestling also gets overlooked because they are not as mainstream as AEW and WWE. One thing Impact Wrestling does very well is showcase Midwest and Canadian Talent. They have a roster with talent like Rohit Raju, Jake Something, Sami Callihan, Sam Beale, Trey Miguel, Josh Alexander, Cody Deaner, Rachael Ellering, Havok, Crazzy Steve, Madman Fulton, Chris Sabin, Petey Williams, Joe Doering, Rhino, and Eric Young. A good chunk of the roster is from the Midwest and Canada. Why is this important? Because most of the Impact Wrestling stars work the independent scene when they are not working Impact Wrestling. You may ask, what does this have to do with Death Threat Army? Let me break it down for you.

Trey Miguel has faced off against Aaron Orion, Tommy Vendetta, and Alex Weir with all three matches being in 2021. Jake Something has faced Orion, Jack Price, and Vendetta within the last three years. Rohit Raju has taken on Orion, Vendetta, and Weir within the last two years. Jimmy Jacobs, who is a producer for Impact Wrestling has also shared the ring with Orion, Price, and Adam Wick. One of the most important matches that in DTA’s history was a match that took place in July 2021. The combination of Orion, Vendetta, and Price faced off against Violent By Design, which consisted of Deaner, Joe Doering and Rhino on that night. This match really proved to me that Death Threat Army should be on everyone’s radar, but Impact should be their destination right now with amount of talent they have faced from the Impact Roster. Currently, the only faction in Impact Wrestling is Violent by Design. It would be a natural feud for Death Threat Army because of the familiarity of the all parties are working with each other previously. A Death Threat Army invasion of Impact Wrestling would seem inevitable with the quality of talent within the faction and the quality of matches that all of them have. Whether or not Death Threat Army is on Impact Wrestling’s radar remains to be seen, but any promotion in the country would benefit from have one or multiple members of the Death Threat Army on their shows.
